The bed faces the garden. Big trees keep the room in shade through the middle of the day.

One room, and a long one. Past the bed the bathroom opens without a door, and the shower runs most of its width.

The room stands five metres from the pool. The building around it runs 10 metres by 9. The planting along the path does the work of a wall.

Cooking is done outside, at a counter under the roof. At the other end of the terrace the lounge sits out of the sun.

Nothing else has a claim on the terrace, or on the jacuzzi. The water runs warm after dark.

Rain comes early, then it clears, and the leaves keep dripping into a bright morning. Coffee happens outside, with the howlers still going.
